Use Permission audit to review what staff and promoters can access — across the organization and per venue — without opening each profile one by one. Helpful for onboarding checks, access reviews, and troubleshooting “why can't they see X?”
Open the sidebar, click Settings, then Team, then Audit (page title: Permission audit).
You need permission to add or update staff to use this page.
Select people to audit
- Under Staff, use the multi-select (Search staff...) and pick one or more staff members.
- Under Promoters, use Search promoters... and pick one or more promoters.
- Click View Permissions.
You can include only staff, only promoters, or both. View Permissions stays disabled until at least one person is selected.
Results table
After View Permissions, the table lists everyone you selected.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Checkbox | Select rows to compare |
| Kind | Staff, Admin, Server (member type), or Promoter |
| Name | Display name |
| Login email | |
| Organization permissions | Badges for org-wide permissions (staff/admins; promoters usually show —) |
| Venue permissions | Grouped by venue name; badges list each permission at that venue |
Header actions (results view)
- Change Selection — Return to the picker and choose different people
- Compare — Enabled when two or more rows are checked; opens a side-by-side comparison modal
Compare permissions
- In the results table, check two or more rows.
- Click Compare.
- Review the modal for differences in org and venue permissions.
- Close the modal when finished.
Tips
- Org permissions apply across the whole organization; venue permissions only apply at the listed venue.
- Promoters typically have venue-scoped permissions only.
- To change access, edit the person under Settings → Team → Staff or Promoters — see Choosing staff member permissions and Choosing promoter permissions.
