Connect Square so TablelistPro can pull same-day Square orders into reservations for easier table-spend reconciliation.
You'll need permission to manage organization settings. For the Integrations page flow, see Adding Integrations. For credential handling, see Integration security and your data.
What Square sends to TablelistPro
Square orders can be matched to TablelistPro reservations, including ticket details, table, guest name, subtotal, tax, tip, and total.
After you add a Square order to a reservation, TablelistPro updates the customer's spend numbers.
Square does not use the POS code / Tablelist menu item flow. Staff pick the order from the reservation.
Use Square orders on a reservation
- Open Reservations, then open the reservation.
- Go to Details -> Payment.
- Click Select POS Order.
- Search by customer name or ticket number.
- Select the Square order to add it to the reservation.
TablelistPro lists Square orders created on that reservation's diary date. Your customer spend numbers update after you select an order.
Set up the integration
- Open the sidebar, click Settings, then Integrations.
- Click +, choose Square, and wait for the setup panel to open (or open an existing Square integration to edit).
- Enter your Square credentials:
- Access Token (required)
- Location ID (required)
- Environment —
productionorsandbox(required)
- Click Save.
The integration saves as active when all required Square fields are valid.
After the first save, Access Token is masked. Leave it blank on later edits to keep the existing token.
Location ID is Square's unique identifier for the venue location. Find it in Square Dashboard → Settings → Locations, or in the Square Developer Dashboard.
Environment chooses which Square API TablelistPro calls. Use production for a live venue. Use sandbox only with a Square Sandbox access token and Sandbox Location ID. The token, Location ID, and environment must match.
One POS integration can be active per venue at a time.
Where to create credentials in Square
Create an access token in the Square Developer Dashboard.
- Log in to the Square Developer Dashboard.
- Open your application, or create one if you don't have it yet.
- Give the application Orders read access (and any other scopes Square requires for your account).
- Copy an Access token for the environment you'll use (Production or Sandbox).
- Copy the Location ID for the restaurant location that should sync.
Enter those values in TablelistPro. Use Environment sandbox only when the token is a Square Sandbox token.

Troubleshooting
- No POS orders listed — confirm the integration is enabled, the Location ID is the location that rang the checks, and Environment matches the token. TablelistPro only shows orders created on the reservation's date.
- Square rejected the request — the access token is missing, expired, or for the other environment. Paste a new token and leave Environment set to the matching value.
- Can't enable Square — another POS integration is already active on this venue. Disable it first.
